Additional Network Arrangements
AMCO strives to provide the most comprehensive network of providers in the state of Arkansas. In order to assist our clients further, we have partnered with other organizations which offer the best opportunities for enhancing your employers' benefit packages. Please read through the information below and let us know if you have any questions.
COVERAGE FOR PAYORS WITH MULTI-STATE LOCATIONS
If your company needs nationwide PPO coverage for multiple locations, AMCO has two options available for you. AMCO is affiliated with the following national PPO networks: Beech Street (a Viant network) and USAccess. Please contact AMCO for more information.
For those companies which may be located near the perimeters of Arkansas and need additional coverage for employees who choose to seek healthcare across state lines. AMCO offers the following options in addition to our network:
- St. John's PHO (Springfield,MO) - requires 20% benefit differential in the co-insurance
- Health Choice (Memphis, TN) - no additional requirements
- Health First (Joplin, MO) - no additional requirements
Arrangements can easily be made for this coverage through AMCO at no additional cost. Please note that these physician are not listed in the AMCO Directories.
BAPTIST EXCLUSIVE
While unique in Arkansas, AMCO is contracted with all Little Rock Hospitals. Specific to AMCO, the following hospitals offer "exclusive", further reduced rates if an AMCO Payor exercises exclusivity with that facility in Little Rock:
- Baptist Medical Center & Baptist Memorial Medical Center
The Baptist Exclusive arrangement does not affect your panel of physicians; however, hospital services must be performed exclusively at Baptist facilities if available. There are no separate AMCO Provider Directories which exclude these facilities, and all hospitals appear on AMCO's website directory. The patient will be responsible for any Out-of-Network charges incurred due to services being performed at a facility outside of Baptist Health.
